Acer Sucks

OMG! Acer has rised to become the number two PC maker in the world, pushing Dell to third position. What kind of research did industry tracker IDC made to rank that Taiwan-based multinational electronics manufacturer as runner-up?

HP is still the champion since they toppled Dell three years ago. Lenovo from China and Japan's Toshiba complete the top five. Apple is suspiciously missing from the global top five but is still outpacing the market with shipments increasing by 11.8 percent

Acer is seriously the world's worst computer brand, how could it be at the top with the elites like HP and co? As the popular phrase goes, "Acer sucks". You don't hear people saying "Dell sucks" or "Asus Sucks". There are even groups in Facebook which condemns Acer, one of them was joined by me

Just a couple of days ago, news broke out that three of the five models of Acer laptop computers recalled by the Taiwanese brand for overheating problems are being sold in Singapore and affected, as reported by The Straits Times

Their call centre fairs no better than their products. That everlasting female voice aka answering machine repeats the same old thing over and over again while you wait for your call to be answered by the next available agent. One more thing, that recorded voice can only receive a pass in an oral examination. It does not have that necessary ang moh accent in it

Ironically, I own two Acer computers, a laptop for work and desktop at home, because of my greed. I purchased them at bargain deals only to get a performance with a bargain too. I am typing on a Dell PC by the way at the moment, in case you are curious

Most users (or victims) of a Acer product would agree with me. And together, we will shout "Acer Sucks!!!" The only place where you can hear people saying another computer brand sucks should be in an Acer office or factory. But they are just bluffing themselves

I wanted to post an anti-Acer picture but on second thought I think I better not
