Debates

Finally, another debate show will be aired on Singapore TV again come 23rd November. I am not sure how many were there before this upcoming 9th International Varsity Debate but it was five years ago that I last watched one on television.

Other than detective shows and animal documentaries, another all-time favourite genre of TV programme is debates. I still recall that when I was in Sec 2, I glued myself in front of the TV trying to catch and digest every word the debaters were speaking.

Debates are a wonderful way for you to test and display your everything-that-you've-got. I consider debates as arguments but done in a posh and elegant manner.

I had took part in numerous debates when I was back in school. Of course, there is no real winner in a debate or else it will not be called a debate. It is just a judgement of whose reaction and thinking is better.

My favourite topic of all is "Is it better to be a male or female?" I always ponder over this topic since a long time ago. I would very much like to see it being debated by a group of guys and girls where the guys are on the female side on vice versa.

It would definitely be interesting.

I was absolutely right about the Technopreneurship notes. It is almost useless except that you can use it as rough paper when practising Maths. One lecture only make up of two pages.

There are some blanks in the notes which students have to fill in. The "scared" answers to those blanks will be revealed by the lecturer in class. Actually, more than half of Thursday's lesson was out-of-topic.

Again, the lecturer was talking about his daughter. This time it was her enrichment classes at some popular centre where parents need to wait for one year to enrol their kids into.

He also spoke about SP's night classess for the part-time diploma courses. I seriously can't see what does this got to do with the module. Oh yeah, maybe there was excess time so he was trying hard to stretch the lesson longer.

Let's see what extra stuff does he have next week.

S League 2010

How often do you hear me talk about our local S League, let alone discuss about it? Well, I'm going to give my two cents worth about it today and it could turn out to be worth two hundred dollars.

All the teams are left with only one more game to play. Nothing much is left to compete except the championship.

Woodlands Wellington are destined to be number one from the bottom this year. Beijing Guoan can jolly well pack their bags and return to their villages where violence is common there.

Balestier Khalsa deserves a Best Improvement Award. The doubles Gs United, Geylang and Gombak, are fighting for a respectable fifth place. Singapore Armed Forces has finally ran out of ammunition which made them the 2006-2009 winners.

However, the main characters are still Etoile FC and Tampines Rovers. Home United's chance of being crowned is only a decimal value of less than one. Tampines is behind Etoile by a point but have a better goal difference of 6.

In my opinion, I reckon that Etoile will go on to clinch the title hence, being the first foreign team to do so. Their final match is against Albirex Niigata. Shouldn't be a tough game for the French club.

Tampines host Balestier on the same day as Etoile vs Albirex. Tampines face a must-win battle and hope that Albirex can at least squeeze out a draw. But I think Etoile will give it their all since it's the final hurdle.

Singapore Pools' odds for Etoile FC as championship winner is $1.33. One week ago, it was only $1.07 but has since increased because Tampines narrowed the gap between the two contenders.

A 33% percent profit from 95% percent win bet looks decent. If you wage $250, you can easily win more than $80. Etoile definitely have the ability to win their final game.

Bet Type: 20, Competition No.: 0101, Selection No.: 05

This is the two cents worth that I am talking about.

Local names for coffee and tea

I was doing some school work about coffee and came across this. So much so for being a Singaporean when I don't even know the names of the bevarages here. I had always wondered what name was for what type of coffee/tea. Well, can't blame me, I am no coffee-drinker.

Local names for coffee and tea

At kopi tiams, coffee and tea are usually ordered using their local names.
Coffee
  • Kopi, coffee
  • Kopi-gau, coffee (strong brew – "gau" is "厚" in Hokkien)
  • Kopi-po, coffee (weak brew – "po" is "薄" in Hokkien)
  • Kopi-C, coffee with evaporated milk
  • Kopi-C-kosong, coffee with evaporated milk and no sugar ('kosong" means empty in Malay)
  • Kopi-O, coffee with sugar only
  • Kopi-O-kosong, coffee without sugar or milk
  • Kopi-O-kosong-gau, a strong brew of coffee without sugar or milk
  • Kopi-bing or Kopi-ice, coffee with milk, sugar and ice
  • Kopi-xiu-dai, coffee with less sugar
  • Kopi-gah-dai, coffee with extra sweetened milk
Tea
  • Teh, tea with milk and sugar
  • Teh-C, tea with evaporated milk
  • Teh-C-kosong, tea with evaporated milk and no sugar
  • Teh-O, tea with sugar only
  • Teh-O-kosong, plain tea without milk or sugar
  • Teh tarik, the Malay tea described above
  • Teh-halia, tea with ginger water
  • Teh-bing, tea with ice, also known as Teh-ice
  • Teh-xiu-dai, tea with less sugar
  • Teh-gah-dai, tea with extra sweetened milk

CSM lecturer

My CSM lecturer is really a joker. I am not referring to being a competent joke teller but one whose actions and words make others laugh at.

Last week, we had to think of something which we want to sell (or market). Everyone else is going to think of dull and boring electronic gadgets or devices so I decided on selling property to be different.

When I told my idea to the lecturer, she asked if I have ever worked as a property agent. I cannot comprehend what made her ask that. If I was really selling houses, will I still be in the classroom?

Today, she browsed the sales letter which I drafted for the "house" that I am selling. She asked why didn't I include a sentence about a discount.

There can only be two possibilities which prompted her to ask such a dumb question. She has never lived in a house before or she is just simply d_ _ _.

Where on earth does a seller gives a discount to potential buyers? It's the one with the highest bid that wins.

My lecturer even suggested me to write nonsense like "10% discount for first 100 buyers". There will and will always be only one damn buyer for one damn house. I am not selling printers or handphones like what the rest of your students are doing.

I wonder if I were to sell matchsticks would she think that I am selling one matchstick at a time?

Third Year Assembly

Saw this in the inbox of my school email yesterday. It really amused me.

From the grammatical errors, you can tell that the email was hastily typed. The sender even spelled a word in his name with two capital letters. I don't understand Why must so kancheong.

Secondly, the third year assembly is on a Thursday at 4.30pm. My lesson ends at 6pm on that day. There are usually classes on Thursday afternoons for EEE students so it is kind of strange that they schedule it on that day.

Anyway, I can foresee what will occur during then. It has always been like this in SP.

Some boring speaker talking on stage, people using their handphones, people listening to music, people talking to one another, people falling asleep, people trying to get out of the place during the event and people not attending it.

Why are language modules taught to students only? Lecturers should be the ones who need presentation skills.

Why did you choose SP?

Lots of people, and I mean lots of them, from SP always complain about travelling to school. They stay quite a distance away from school hence, need more time to travel.

Then why did you guys choose SP in the first place? It's not like SP is the one and only poly in Singapore. If you marked SP as one of your choices during JAE (Joints Admissions Exercise), you should be prepared for this.

I have ever asked many people this question. And those were the people whom actually complained about living far away from SP some time later after they were asked that question.

The question is "Why did you choose SP?". Most of them seemed unable to answer. Others would give a look which signifies I-got-no-choice. I don't believe that they weren't given a choice.

It is human instinct that these people so unknowingly talk about the disadvantages of not living nearby school.

Today, you can ask XXX why he doesn't choose TP when he stays at XXX area in the East. A few days later, he is late for class and when he arrives he'll complain about having to wake up early and other nonsense.

These nonsense include waking-up time, travelling time, transport fare, need to change trains at MRT interchanges and the most absurd of all, staying up late last night.

If you people picked a school nearer to your home, you would have less troubles and nonsense.

22 Oct

I expected the Technopreneurship lesson to be interesting but I guess the saying that goes "the higher the hopes, the greater the disappointment" is right.

The lecturer kept talking about himself and other auxiliary stuff. Like his daughter's swimming lessons, his Chinese New Year visitings, his working life in SP and many more which I can't remember.

The only thing that I recalled was I was reading the newspaper and Temasek Holdings bought a stake in a Brazilian oil and gas company that starts with the letter O.

The most ridiculous part is that we have to pay $1.30 for this module's notes. It's not even a book man! It's just some A4-sized papers stapled together. The content inside is hardly informative at all.

I seriously suspect if the price is $1.30 or $0.13. I could have bought a ballpoint pen with the amount I forked out.

I also had to buy a book (it's really a book) for another module called NETP. It costs $2.10 and although it has been 4 days since I paid, I still find the extra 10 cents quite annoying.

I wonder if the lecturer pockets all the 10 cents from students or the printing costs so exactly at that price. I hope it is the latter.

People will tell me that it is because of calculations from the printing. I believe that the price won't be exactly $2.10.

So if the school can round the price up to the nearest 10 cents, why can't it round up to the nearest dollar?

No Lunch

Singapore Exchange (SGX) is proposing for an all-day continuous trading system by cancelling the 90-minute lunch break. Currently, the Singapore market operates from 9am to 12.30am and then 2pm to 5pm.

This was first brought up a few months ago by SGX and I think it looks set to become a reality. This would enable investors to trade international securities which are listed in SGX. Also, they can keep up to date on latest happenings in the financial world.

Many markets around the world like NASDAQ, Germany and London all practise continuous trading. Singapore together with Malaysia and a few others are the few Asia-Pacific countries that still have lunch breaks.

But this might not be good news to brokers. They may have to sarcrifice their lunchtime to work since every second counts in the market.

Anyway, I don't think this change (if it happens) will make much of an impact on Singapore's stock market.

20 Oct

Teacher said that I was the best writer in class during yesterday's lesson. She was referring to the essay which she made us do on Monday. It was the first time in 3 years that I wrote so many words on a piece of foolscap paper.

We had to talk about our polytechnic life and our goals. I protested at first as I find that those were boring topics. I gave in in the end and tried to write something out-of-the-box, content which most people won't think/write about.

Then, the last question was "What does Singapore has to offer to youths?" This one is really difficult to answer but I think it was this part which made my essay looked nice.

You can ask me in private what I wrote. I'm not going to disclose it here.

Actually, it is not that I am a better writer than the rest. It is just that I bother to use my brain and I use it with creativity.

Rooney's future

Recently, there has been a lot of speculation on Wayne Rooney's future. Some say that his relationship with manager Alex Ferguson has deteriorated to a negative point. There is no turning back.

If Rooney were to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window, who would his new employers be? Here are some guesses.

Chelsea

The Blues have indicated that they would be keen to take advantage of the situation should the England striker really leave United. Chelsea have the money for the transfer fee and are the only other "big club" in England at the moment.

Rooney would also be the long-term successor of the ageing Didier Drogba. Both would form a formidable attacking force in the Premier League should the Blues sign the former.

Stamford Bridge still looks quite unlikely as the final destination for Rooney though.

Manchester City

A move to the blue half of Manchester? I would say the probability is only one percent. There is already Carlos Tevez, cramming another Rooney into the squad does not sound practical.

Moreover, the guy is going to get lots of abuses from the fans when both Manchester teams play each other.

Barcelona

Barca would be delighted to have a player like Rooney to be part of their team. However, there is already David Villa, the striker they splashed 40 million euros on this summer.

Buying Rooney would not only burden them financially but tactically as well. If Villa were to partner Rooney in a 4-4-2 formation, then where will Messi be?

Real Madrid

The most possible outcome to this story. Rooney reuniting with C.Ronaldo at the Bernabeu can definitely be a reality.

A move to overseas might also be advantageous to Rooney considering the many negative non-football news about him

Karim Benzema, the French striker at Madrid, might be used as in a part exchange deal.
Ferguson is a long-term admirer of the Frenchman and signing the latter would be a dream come true for him.

Many ex-Red Devils who have fallen out with Fergie have moved on to Real Madrid. From David Beckham to Gabriel Heinze to Ruud van Nistelrooy, they have all continued their playing careers at the Spanish club.

Rooney looks set to be the next one.

First day of the new semester. Nothing much changed. People are late for lectures, the lesson starts late but ends earlier than the expected time.

Foodcourts are crowded during lunchtime. Popular bookshop has a long queue. Dover MRT station was flooded with students in the morning. Cars are parked all over the campus including beside double yellow lines.

Oh yes, how can I not talk about the new Starbucks? There were like only 10 seats in the cafe but the shop was filled with 100 people! Ok, I am just exaggerating but I think the scene looks quite retarded.

Lastly, there is some construction going on near the library. I heard that they are going to build a sanctuary there. Will you make any difference? Why not use the money to subsidize students' transport fares instead?

This week, news about a New York City photographer, Sally Davies, shocked and rocked the world.

She bought a McDonald's Happy Meal which include a burger and fries on 10 April (six months ago) and until today, the food still looks edible without any moulds.

The first thing which crosses our minds is what the hell did the fast food contain? Preservatives? Or some secret which McDonald's did not disclose to the public?

Miss Davies placed the Happy Meal on a plate and left it untouched for half a year. She snapped pictures of it daily and posted the photos online. You just have to Google "sally davies mcdonalds" and you can see them for yourself.

Some people started suspecting the fast food chain while others suspected the woman who carried out the experiment. I believe that it was a genuine project since there are news of other similar experiments.

Is it miraculous or what? Maybe you can try it out yourself at home.

Starbucks

Starbucks is going to open in Singapore Polytechnic on 18th October!!!

Yeah, you think I care? Starbucks is only for people who like to waste money. And these group of people are usually youngsters around my age.

Drinking plain water is still the most practical.

14 Oct

The new semester will commence in 4 days' time. Excluding FYP, our timetable looks quite "blank" this time. My PT (personal tutor) Tan Toh Seng will be my lecturer again. PTs are supposed to contact their students regularly but mine only does it when there is a need to.

More than 2 years, like every other new student, we had to carry tins in public for the school's flag day. Until now, I still don't know where will the collected funds go to. The school indirectly forced us to collect at least $30. You will only be awarded CCA points if you achieve that amount.

However, I have still not receive those points although I raised more than $30 through the public, myself and friends whereby we donate to each other. The point is, SP did not seem to appreciate what we did. They made Flag Day look as though it's a mandatory ritual all freshmen must undergo. We won't love the school more by forcing us to do CIP.

Anyway, back to the upcoming semester. There is this module which I particularly look forward to. It is Technopreneurship, those kind of miscellaneous modules the school makes you take in hope that you will be a more all-rounded person. I guess it is just another lesson where you stand in front of the class, put on an invisible mask and start acting like you are very enthusiastic about your presentation.

So why am I so interested? Well, the module code starts with BA instead of the usual LC. That's the reason.

Singapore General Election

Latest news about Singapore's upcoming general election is that the polls are scheduled during mid-December, probably on the 11th or 18th.

Earlier in the year, I predicted that the elections would be held in late October. Unfortunately, I got it wrong. I believe the government shifted the date later because of Kwa Geok Choo's demise.

If the General Election is does not occur during December, then it will definitely be in March 2011 for sure. March looks like the most suitable month considering various factors.

The presidential election is going to take place in 2011. S.R. Nathan's term will discontinue after 31 August. Having two elections close to each other doesn't seem feasible.

Last but not least, if you get to vote, vote wisely. Some opposition members have guts but no brains, others have brains but no guts. Nobody is perfect but the Pay and Pay party has neither of them.

Singapore is Liverpool

Look at what we have now. Peter Lim of Singapore has announced that he also wants to buy Liverpool Football Club.

This guy is a freaking billionaire rated at 16 billion dollars by Forbes and he made it clear that he is offering 360 billion POUNDS (not SGD) to buy the club.

This must the first positive news for local Liverpool fans like (not me, not me, I don't support an 18th-placed team). Anyway, I was already having thoughts about Liverpool if the takeover is successful.

A new Liverpool manager who is Singaporean. I think that I am quite suitable for that job in terms passion, I just need to get a coaching license.

Roy Hodgson has proved to everybody that he is only good at managing small clubs. A big club like Liverpool needs somebody with bigger ambitions to lead them. Somehow, Raymond sounds better than Roy.

New Reds players who are also Singaporeans. Bring in Noh Alam Shah, Indra Sahdan, Shahril Ishak etc. I hope Alam Shah can whack some Manchester United players when he plays against them, never mind if he gets a red card.

Unknown players like Wai Yuen who dream about playing for the Merseyside club may finally get the chance of their lives. Lucas and David N'gog please step aside, no I mean get lost.

Liverpool is Singapore. Singapore is Liverpool.

What am I talking about?

Sweaty palms

Today's weather was blistering hot. It was so boiling that I felt like singing Wonder Girls' So Hot but realized that I had forgotten the lyrics.

My fan has been switched on for almost the past 24 hours. I wonder if it is complaining that the motor is getting too hot as well. Luckily, fans can't speak human language.

I have a distinct trait which people know and are afraid off. My sweaty palms as well as my feet. The area which I walk around looks drenched in sweat. A good way to let others know the territorial boundaries like what animals do.

As I am typing now, my palms are also perspiring. I seldom shake hands with others and always stick them in my pockets. You should know why.

bicycle

This week, in the span of four days, my father changed three bicycles.

He swooped the first for the second and the second for the third and current one, all at the same shop at Lakeside.

They are all second-hand because we don't believe that new bikes will be able to survive if they are parked under a HDB block. Even old ones are not spared, let alone the newbies.

The first one was apparently too old. It looked to old, to be exact. The second one's chain had some problems, it was not straight enough.

The third one might not be the perfect choice but no doubt is better than the first two. The handle is a bit too high though.

Who cares? It is not my bicycle anyway. Most importantly, it is not my money.

Society Changes

My cousin asked me a history question. "How did riots in 1950-1959 show the dissatisfaction of the locals?" He is currently a secondary two student. Politically correct answers aside, there is more to it.

From my perspective, those days when men wore nothing but white shirts or singlets and everybody's hair was black in colour were pretty direct. People's minds' were less complicated compared to now.

But because they were less complicated, that complicated matters. Races were divided. Even within races, the different dialects are also separated from one another.

There was Hokkien street, Teochew Street, Hong Kong street etc. Xenophobia was evident during those black-and-white days. People tried solving problems with their fists.

Of course, fists can't solve problems. If they do, A Maths and F Maths would not have existed in schools. Humans seemed to be more hot-tempered back then.

The Gen X and Gen Y generation have not as simple-minded as their peers 30 or 40 years ago. Society is always changing. It is a fact that we are also changing.

The bottomline is how should we change to adapt to society?

Most Versatile Ingredient

What is the most versatile ingredient when it comes to cooking?

Eggs? Because you can fried. steam, half-boil, hard-boil, poach or blanch them. If you want your way, you can even eat them raw. I'm not sure if we can eat the shell as well but it seems alright.

Or maybe potatoes? There are a wide variety of dishes/food which consist of this crop. Like mashed potatoes, french fries, potato soup, curry puffs etc. It is also one of the most widely eaten food in all continents.

How about bread? Most of us consume this flour-made product for breakfast every morning. It is the staple food in Europe, America and parts of Africa. It is more convenient to eat and you can eat it with anything you like.

Let's not forget the beans. Red bean, green bean, yellow bean, black bean and many more. Asians as well as the Americans and Europeans love cooking it. Beans are even more versatile as they can made into a dish or drink.

Actually, there is no such thing as the most versatile ingredient in the world. Everything is unique. The only two things we definitely need for cooking are salt and sugar.

Ok, you can add chilli in too if you a Singaporean.

I found this video on SP's Blackboard website. Definitely not filmed by the best cameraman but that's what makes the video interesting. By the way, my team is Defendors, the eventual winner of the match.

One more thing, don't bother to look for my face. I only played for 4 minutes in that game and there weren't any exciting parts when I was on the field

499th post

This is the 499th post. I decided to celebrate the half-a-millenium mark one post earlier in case I forget about it. I had thought of celebrating when I was nearing my 100th post some time back but believed that 100 was far too little to be proud of.

For today, I have posted up a short story written by myself. Hope you'll enjoy it.

***

I climbed up the fence and jumped into the school’s backyard. I landed on my back. I was all alone on a Sunday night. I had to find that book I left in class. I need it for tomorrow’s exam. I have to get it back. I must.

The moment I stood up I knew I was in for something. A cat’s meow greeted me as I started walking to the nearest block. My ears heard the cat but my eyes couldn’t find it. The moon was shining brightly in the sky, but not bright enough to make things visible around me.

I walked up a slope. It was the way towards the science labs. My mind flew back to that afternoon. We were having biology class. This sudden flashback appeared to have made the whole area bright again, just like any other school day.

I started recalling what transpired on that afternoon.

We had to dissect a frog but I couldn’t be bothered with the theory behind it. I just tore mine up into pieces and mashed them up. I utilized every possible object within my reach to mutilate the dead animal. I was out of my mind. I chopped up the amphibian until the pieces became too small for any further breakdown.

I stopped walking. I was standing right outside that very laboratory now. I saw myself getting lectured by the teacher, my classmates were gave a disgusted look and the poor frog was physically beyond recognition.

I felt so silly. I felt so immature. Guilt was multiplying inside my body.

I strolled towards the window and peered inside. Everything looked the same. My eyes moved to look at the whiteboard. Suddenly, I heard a sound. I listened carefully. My eyes couldn’t find it again. It was a monotonous, low-pitched groan. I was still looking inside the lab.

Then, a green creature jumped up from nowhere and stuck out its tongue. It looked as though it was going to pierce through my eyeball. I shut my eyelids tightly. I screamed.

I started running.

I stepped onto something and tripped. That made me open up my eyes at last. The school bookshop was resting right beside me. Memories started flowing back again.
I had been stealing from the bookshop lady for as long as I can remember.

Pens, I pilfered pens and profited from the sale of them to my friends. It was the easiest stationery to steal. Sometimes, I would work with a trusted accomplice, on other occasions, I was an independent thief.

I had always been proud of myself for being so competent. I was never caught red-handed. It felt like an achievement whenever I walk out of the shop with something unpaid in my pocket.

Actually, news has it that the bookshop lady had just pass away last week. Rumour has it that she ate something poisonous. The bookshop has been closed for the past few days. That made impatient students buying stationery at the eleventh hour even more impatient.

All of a sudden, I felt sorry for the bookshop lady. My so-called pride vanished; I realized my achievements were just crimes; I got away scot-free out of pure luck each time. Or did somebody just didn’t report me?

My mind was in a mess. I had completely forgotten about the book I left in class.

“Kid, I know what you’re up to every time you enter the shop.” a voice above me said

I slowly looked up. It was a head. A floating head. The head of the bookshop lady!

“You’re still young so you’re entitled to chances. Chances to repent and reflect.”

That was the reason why I was never caught.

I jumped up and made a dash away from the bookshop. As I ran, I repeatedly told myself that it was a hallucination.

I let out a yell and it echoed throughout the school compound on a silent night.

I paused the run and found myself next to the water cooler. It was always the first place I went to when there was a break during band practice.

I stared at it for a second. The motor was still on and roaring like a monster trapped inside. Its metallic body reflected moonlight in the dark with shimmering elegance.

There was one day when no water came out. I kicked the machine non-stop as if it had cheated me all of my money.

I hurried over and tried looking for that dent I created. My fingers crawled around its body and sensed a hollow area. My left hand started stroking that area for no reason. While I was doing that, my right hand unexpectedly touched my tummy. “What if somebody kicked me like that?” I thought.

I had still yet to find my book. I ambled down the aisle where my classroom was. The bookshop lady’s head was still in my mind. She seemed to be smiling.

I had to move quickly and just get out of this weird place which I study at.

It took me more than ten seconds to make the first and second steps into the classroom. My breathing and heartbeat were competing each other to see who was louder. My eyes kept blinking.

The classroom froze in the dark. So was I.

My legs were too afraid to drag me forward. I kept turning my neck as if somebody was behind me.

All of a sudden, my mobile phone exploded in my pocket, playing my favourite ringtone. I trudged out of the classroom and answered the call.

“Gor, where’re you? I’ve found your book.”

“Where?”

“At the back of the sofa. I don’t know how it ended up there”

But I do know. I have misplaced it. And I just came to understand that I had been wasting my time in the school. I immediately ran back to the backyard. I climbed the fence and landed on my back again.

As I got up, I heaved a huge sigh of relief but a thunderclap overpowered it.

I had just attended a valuable lesson in school on a Sunday night. A lesson that will never happen on a bright and normal school day.

Another thunder laughed loudly in the night sky. I paced back home with quick steps. Raindrops started falling on my head.

Kwa Geok Choo passes away

Mdm Kwa Geok Choo, wife of the great LKY, has just passed away a few hours ago. My condolences to the Lee and Kwa families. LKY wouldn't have led Singapore to success without his wife who played an indispensable and pivotal role in the local political scene.

There were rumours that Lee & Lee law firm, where Mdm Kwa was one of the partners, was given monopoly over HDB conveyance services for more than 2 decades. I think we shouldn’t talk about this topic currently.

Instead, I would like to talk about something more serious. With all due respect to Mrs Lee, I urge all Singaporeans to be vigilant and stay awake. That is, People’s  Action Party is expected to use the demise of Mdm Kwa to win sympathy votes in the upcoming election.

I respect PAP, the Lee family and their supporters. However, half-neutral voters who are slightly titled towards opposition parties must not be swayed. One needs to be wise and tough enough to make an informed decision.

It is time for a revolution in Singapore. The opposition is busy working for a change. It is a difficult and tedious process but they are doing it for the good of Singapore. I hope fellow Singaporeans will be bright enough to vote for a better future for our country.
