Singapore General Election
Latest news about Singapore's upcoming general election is that the polls are scheduled during mid-December, probably on the 11th or 18th.
Earlier in the year, I predicted that the elections would be held in late October. Unfortunately, I got it wrong. I believe the government shifted the date later because of Kwa Geok Choo's demise.
If the General Election is does not occur during December, then it will definitely be in March 2011 for sure. March looks like the most suitable month considering various factors.
The presidential election is going to take place in 2011. S.R. Nathan's term will discontinue after 31 August. Having two elections close to each other doesn't seem feasible.
Last but not least, if you get to vote, vote wisely. Some opposition members have guts but no brains, others have brains but no guts. Nobody is perfect but the Pay and Pay party has neither of them.
