I wasted 90 minutes of my life this afternoon attending the ITP talk. It is useless and simply a waste of our time.
It is exactly the same as the previous one in mid-July. The same boring speakers, their same lousy powerpoint slides, their same speech with the same old not-funny jokes and the same corked up management by the school which resulted in one long queue of students waiting to take their attendance. Note that I use the word "one"
Halfway through the event after two speakers had spoken, some students started to leave the auditorium but were blocked by some idiots guarding the exit door at the back. I can understand why they were so eager to leave, because the whole thing was really silly
SP, I suggest you to send your lecturers to attend some courses on presentation. Maybe you can get them to take up the "Oral Communication" and "Report Writing and Presentation" modules taught by fellow lecturers. They seriously suck at presentations and speeches
One more thing, please use your brains for often too. You should get the students to teach you back some common sense. Is scanning the card the best way to take attendance? And you only have one scanning machine for a few hundred people? Where did our school fees go to?
The school's vision is to be a leading institution. Maybe we should get someone who is good enough to lead first before anything else
