Newborn Baby
It always sounds weird when you hear somebody say she had just given birth to a newborn baby. That sentence does not seem to look incorrect at first but read it again.
When somebody had just given birth, the baby is definitely, confirmed plus guaranteed a newborn. So when one says "I had just given birth to a baby", the newborn part is assumed.
Giving birth to a newborn baby just doesn't seem to sound right. it is like saying "Do you want to eat cold ice-cream?" Sounds wrong right?
So to all future mothers out there. Please, do not say that you had just given birth to a newborn baby. It is not as if you can pull a 12 year-old son out of your tummy.
