Contradicting and Misleading

Here is something which I don't understand and it seems rather contradicting




A chicken essence brand, which is better known for it's abalones, gets scholars from different examinations like PSLE and O levels to advertise their products. Obviously, they are trying to show consumers(the dumber ones)that this scholars drank their chicken essence and got excellent grades in their studies. But, if you sit back and look at the big picture and think, it is actually the other way round. The kids did well in the exams first, then came the sponsor. So put it simply, this brand is apparently trying to deceive dumb consumers who are potential buyers, thinking that their boy boy or girl girl can do equally well with the help of chicken essence

This is actually similar to milk powder products, where the advertisement shows some genius kid doing amazing things because he drank that certain brand of milk powder

I think they are better off with their abalones and the fragant rice which has Fann Wong and Stephanie Sun in the advertisements respectively
